Grilled peach tea is a delightful beverage that perfectly balances the sweet, smoky flavor of grilled peaches with the soothing qualities of your favorite tea. Equipment

  • Grill or grill pan
  • Small pot
  • Pitcher
  • Knife
  • Cutting board
  • Spoon
  • Tongs

Ingredients
  

  • 4 ripe peaches
  • 4 cups water
  • 4 tea bags black, green, or herbal
  • ΒΌ cup honey or sugar optional
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions
 

  • To prepare the grilled peach tea, start by preheating your grill to medium heat.
  • Cut the peaches in half and remove the pits.
  • Place the peach halves on the grill, cut side down, and cook for about 3-4 minutes until grill marks are visible.
  • While the peaches are grilling, bring the water to a boil in a small pot.
  • Once boiling, remove from heat and steep the tea bags for approximately 5 minutes.
  • After grilling, allow the peaches to cool slightly before chopping them into smaller pieces.
  • Combine the grilled peaches and steeped tea in a pitcher, and if desired, sweeten with honey or sugar.
  • Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves.

Notes

ossible Modifications or Variations:
Use nectarines instead of peaches.
Add a splash of lemon or lime juice for extra tang.
Experiment with different types of tea, such as chamomile or rooibos.
Make it a sparkling drink by adding club soda instead of plain water.
